About

Phil Beeby (Lord Roke)

I’ve been playing videogames since the late 70s when I saw an Atari 2600 running Night Driver. From that point onwards I was hooked. In the 80s I spent many hours on the wonderfully British – Acorn BBC Micro Model B. Games like Elite and Revs were my bread and butter in those days.

On the console front I was the proud owner of a Sega Master System and then moved to the Megadrive and SNES in the early 90s. Since then I’ve owned pretty much every major console released. I currently spend my limited gaming time on the 360, PS3 and Mac for Warcraft.

Outside Games

I’m married with 2 children and work as full time as self employed IT Contractor.  I live in Nottingham, England.

Really enjoy games as a hobby, play a wide variety of games and have played hundreds of games.

Dan Wilks

ve been playing games for 14 years now after inherting my dads commodore vic 20 at the age of 4 and then badgering him till he gave me his commodore 64. Then came still to this day one of the happiest moments of my life when my dad came into my room with a NES with Teenage mutant hero turtles and gave me a crisp £10 as a start for me saving for the game id been having dreams about after watching The Wizard for hours on end. Then came the Amiga with its plush graphics the bitmap brothers churning out classics by the dozen and many hours of my lfe wasted on cannon fodder. Then there was my importing of Super nintendos with hacked copies of streetfighter and jap converters ahh i was never short of tuck money that year. Then There was the megadrive with its E.A sports franchises and there ends my life, ive been hooked playing sports games ever since.
Any sports game around i will play it and i dont suffer fools, dont ask me about wii sports or ill flip. Forever known in my cirlcle of pals as the sports junkie anything sports gaming or otherwise im your man.
